The author’s environment growing up was a home filled with pure love and happiness and a strong, united community where there is balance, love for one another, and respect. Although, as time went by, she saw the changes and difference from how things were before. This encouraged her later on to share the realizations that came to her in order to light up other people’s paths, which strengthened her affinity for others. At 40 years old, in the fall of 1998. She received an email that led her to the track that God had prepared for her to take. She received a Bachelor’s in English Literature at Brooklyn College, where her love of poetry started. This became the instrument for her goodwill to radiate and reach everyone, especially those who needed it the most. The foundation that she has got stronger because of her choices that were made through seeking and finding God, and it shaped her to do great things, and one of these is her book, “Por Donde Entra la Luz.”
