About the Book
Juan was born in a small, far, far away country called Belize. It is near the South Pole. He never found out what happened to his father. He grew up in the country with his mother, where everyone was always friendly, nice, warm-hearted and generous.
On Christmas day he receives a special gift from his mother. She wraps it in shiny wrapping paper and puts it under the Christmas tree. In contrast to the other gifts he received before, this one looks bigger. What could it be?
Message From the Author
I was inspired to write this story by the news about children who were separated from their parents by our new immigration policy. They must be very scared and saddened that they will be separated from their families and placed in secret locations across North America. They neither know the language nor the culture or anyone in the foreign country who makes them feel safe and at peace. To the best of our knowledge, there is only one little girl who remembers her aunt’s phone number in the United States – a comfort and hope that she will be reunited with her family. The fate of the rest of the children, affected by barbaric immigration policies, depends on the grace of the North American government. It remains uncertain
These unfortunate events also affect me personally. Thirty years ago I applied for asylum as a victim of the Vietnam War after fleeing communist land in a boat. I was exposed to many dangers such as imprisonment, hunger, thirst, the ocean, sharks, pirates, cannibalism etc. Fortunately, I was rescued and taken to a refugee camp in Singapore. However, when I was only 15 years old, I was a minor and without the company of an adult. In the camp I was quartered in an orphanage. I still remember exactly how I felt when I was taken there. I was scared, sad, lonely, lost and didn’t know what to do with me. I didn’t speak the language and didn’t know anyone in Singapore whom I could contact and find comfort. I thought I would never see my family again. I just put my fate in God’s hands and hoped for the best. Fortunately, I found out the address of my father, who already lived in the United States. After two weeks of writing him, I managed to reach him. He took care of the formalities and supported me with my entry into the USA.
I know from experience exactly how the children who are suffering from the current immigration chaos and their families are doing. I was one of them. But I was fortunate to be reunited with my father and to get an entry permit into the USA. I pray that this story will bring peace, comfort, and hope to our children no matter what situation they are in. I would also like to suggest important values to them and inspire them to stick together and defend themselves against the evil and greed in the world. I hope my story will help you fight evil with good, spite with kindness, and greed with generosity. Because they are the light and the future of the world. I would like to dedicate this book to poor and disadvantaged children around the world.

Dan R Overfield
About the Author
DAN OVERDFIELD was born in 1944 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He attended technical school, and subsequently served in Vietnam. An electronic technician for many years, the author enjoys the outdoors, reading and studying the Bible, and “a good game of pool”. He lives in Wappapello, Missouri.
Dan wants his readers to know that he is not a member of any particular church or denomination, evangelical or otherwise. He just loves the Lord, His Word and His people.
This book has not been written for those who feel or think, spiritually speaking, they are rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing as they stand before the Lord of glory. It is written for those who like myself feel and think they are poor, blind and naked as they stand before the Lord. (Revelation 3:14-18)
About the Book
The pen is mightier than the sword.
In The Habitation of Devils, Dan Overfield shares his own mistakes, sins, and weaknesses in the hope that they will prevent readers from going through the same sort of personal tragedy he experienced.
Likewise, in reviewing his life and the transformation he was able to undergo, Overfield’s book also serves as a testament to the glory and magnificence of God and Jesus Christ. Through the examination of earthly shortcomings and Biblical truths, The Habitation of Devils will start the reader on the path to a life full of meaning and hope.
The Habitation of Devils: Why God Doesn’t Act is appropriate to a wide reading audience, and particularly is a book every reader who is in any form of despair should read. The author assures one of God’s love, discusses living with imperfections and waiting for the right time. This book will get readers to be more spiritual, and learn more about God and themselves as being a child of God.

About the Author
Mary has worked as a graphic artist and in the field of home health care. Despite a number of major downturns throughout her life, she still remains optimistic and hopeful about her life and that of the people she meets. Optimism brings turnarounds in many situations. Ask God for help in becoming more hopeful about the future as she has done many times.
About the Book
She was going through a period of unemployment and financial difficulty. She was wondering if God was even hearing her prayers. Did He have too much wax in His ears or something? She wondered if God really cared about her or did he want her to experience hell on earth or something. She challenged God to remind her of many significant prayer requests that were answered yes. She would then write a book about it later and share the requests with others.
As time went on, she simply had to conclude that anything is possible with God. She realized that letting go and letting God is important. Have enough faith that Hell do it if its a good idea. What He does with your request may boggle your mind.
One person can make a world of difference. With God, we are all equal in his eyes. Hell do amazing things for anybody.
Anything is possible with prayer. Now hold on to your hat as you read about many of her own experiences with prayer requests that were answered yes.
